Vietnam Bike Tours

Vietnam, with its many ethnic minorities and 2,200 years of history, is rich in culture and heritage.  Enjoy bicycling on quiet country roads with the locals.

Our Beaches and Highlands bike tour starts at the beach resort of Nha Trang on the central coast and finishes in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). It takes in other superb beaches – the country has 3,450km of coastline – and the cooler Central Highlands, with a rest day at Dalat, once known as Le Petit Paris.

Our Ancient Vietnam bike tour starts in Hanoi and after flying to Hue,  the one time capital of the southern part of Vietnam. The Walled Citadel  is  a must to visit..  Our bike ride follows the coast South via  the Hai Van Pass and fascinating Hoi An to the beach resort of Nha Trang.

The country encompasses an enormous range of scenery, from the flat lands of the Mekong Delta to magnificent Halong Bay with its 3,000 islands, sandy beaches and limestone grottoes, and the highlands of Sapa, home to a wealth of minority groups.

While the people are very friendly and gracious, Vietnam although rapidly developing is still a third world country, especially outside the main cities.  The road surfaces are often not of a western standard.  Be prepared to share the road with scooters, school children on bikes, bullocks, chickens, rice crops drying, and other traffic.

In order to see all the highlights of Vietnam, each day will involve some minibus transfers.
